Mother, the ribbons of your love are woven around my heart. ~ Author Unknown
in 1908, in west virginia, Anna Jarvis, wanted to honour her mother and on the second anniversary of her passing, she held a memorial, that in 1914 became a designated holiday in the usa. the second sunday in may, was adopted by many countries and has become a worldwide holiday. in some countries though, the date has changed to fit alongside of historical and religious dates. to have a designated day to celebrate the most precious person on earth, that person who gives unconditional love, mother, is just a precious privilege. this love is a gift; one’s heart. honouring your mother, or a maternal person in your life, is a tradition to celebrate. celebrating mother on her precious day is a for thebestdressup now!

Hi BestD,
I lost my mother in 1985 and the more years that pass, the more I miss her. Even now, there are some days that I’ll say to myself, “Oh, I must tell Mum about this.” Crazy how your mind works 🙂
