on the surface

But as they say about sharks, it’s not the ones you see that you have to worry about, it’s the ones you don’t see. ~ David Blaine

do we see things as they are?  all the smiling faces.  what sits above the surface may be what gets our attention, when what lurks beneath should be the focus.  a grin, a smile.  just what we may want to see.  no doubt it may not be plastic.  and no doubt it may be a play of shadow and light.  don’t limit your senses.  probe to understand.  perceiving and understanding is for thebestdressup now!

    Great photo a lovely fellow,
but bathing ducks more lovely especially the drake… “hahahaha”

Most of us don’t see the world as it is, but as we think or wish it to be – therefore seems negative emotions so self-reinforcing as they do – usually we become strengthened in what we believe – if we believe it goes wrong, so making it easier to go wrong – if we believe it goes well then the chances of success much greater – positive waves apropos them so I adore “Oddball “from” Kelly’s Heroes …. 🙂

    Ciao… 😉

    • ciao! your supporting comment and ‘kelley’s heroes’ added just the best dimension to my post. i had not ever seen ‘kelley’s heroes’, quite amusing and to the point. many thanks for your positives waves; touches my heart. oh, yes, no doubt ducks make better bathing partners :))

I agree, what’s on the surface may not be all there is, and we should probe when necessary. Sometimes it’s not needed and what’s on the surface is sufficient for the moment. Loved that sharky float, I’m sure my kids would love it too 😉

  4. Nice Caption, i almost thought the shark was real.
