we had been at the opening in london, eight years before, and it was just spectacular. so when my luvFAB Zuma opened in 2010, on this side of the pond, it was a celebration for the miami restaurant scene. miami is billed as the magic city, with many restaurants, but perhaps too many are just illusions of what great restaurants are about. too many venues are decorated by high profile designers, but fail to offer a consistent and quality cuisine, and lack attentive and professional service. very few, indeed, offer the magic mix. i often wonder if the consumer’s tolerance dictates this outcome, and as a result the many venues do not deliver the magic. Zuma, though, is not an illusion, but a delicious treat. fortunately, Zuma excels in their cuisine and presentation of every item on the menu, so as to delight the senses in a modern setting with buzzy energy. this restaurant is a brilliant execution. you may say that at a price, but the choice is yours; as this restaurant opens for lunch, dinner or brunch. Zuma is a contemporary japanese restaurant; the kitchen offers a robata grill, as well as a sushi menu and an extensive selection of japanese dishes with a modern take. i am not keen on chain restaurants, but this venue is an exception. the service surpasses in professionalism, and the aim of the managers, servers and staff is hospitality and not tricks. when in miami, sunday brunch at Zuma is our destination for a terrific afternoon with family and friends to enjoy the exquisite buffet and a bellini champagne toast. for japanese cuisine, at any time of the day in the magic city, luvFAB zuma is the venue for thebestdressup now!
as you enter luvFAB Zuma the great energy straightaway swirls you in.
Zuma dessert’s platters are not an illusion. this is a luvMUST finale…complete abandon of the senses for thebestdressup!
